Hi, friends! I’m so glad you’re here. The Coastal Cowgal is a small, woman-owned business run by a military wife with a love for the sea, handmade pieces, and a little bit of coastal charm in everything we do.
You can find us in person at The Market in Midway or shop online anytime!
We create handmade coastal pieces including decoupaged shells, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind items inspired by the ocean. Many pieces are available in the booth, and custom orders can be made right on the spot when we’re there. You can also place a custom order right here on the website anytime.
And when you stop by, be sure to say hi to Jett — our beloved paralyzed dachshund mascot who is usually front and center in the booth keeping us company. He takes his job of greeting visitors very seriously.

about the founder
Hi, I’m Ashley! I grew up in sunny Coronado, California. After a few years between Oklahoma and Texas. I had settled in Bulverde where I met my future husband! These days, we call Florida home as a proud military spouse, building a life here with my husband and our little trio of four-legged companions. Life took me a few different places, but I’ve learned home is less about where you are and more about who you’re with.
At my core, I’m someone who finds joy in creating, connecting, and making a space feel like home wherever we land. Whether it’s through art, coastal treasures, or simply sharing moments with the people (and pets) I love, I believe life is best when it’s filled with warmth, laughter, and a sense of belonging.
